Jeanette Roache, Founder/President of Board of Directors/Executive
Director
Ms. Roache has over twenty-five years experience working in local, state and federal government. She has worked on White House Advance teams and served in top-level staff positions for two former San Diego City Council members and a California State Legislator. Her professional and result oriented manner in which she conducts business has gained her respect across the aisle in the political arena. In 1990 she resigned her position as Staff Vice President and Director of Community Affairs for the Building Industry Association of San Diego to establish J. Roache Enterprises, Inc., a full governmental/public relations and marketing firm. In 1996 she took a leave of absence from her business to become Program Director in charge of donor relations and the national expansion of the Computers for Schools Program in California. Her desire to do more to equip under-served schools with computers and address a larger community of disadvantaged individuals and organizations in need of computers and training, founded the Technology Training Foundation of America in 1998. For her work in this area she received the distinguished George Washington Medal of Honor by the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge - San Diego Chapter. A recipient of numerous awards, Jeanette was named a Woman Who Means Busines finalist by the San Diego Business Journal in 2002 and a recipient in 2009. In 2003 she was honored as a Woman of Accomplishment by Soroptimist International of San Diego. In 2004 she was named Soroptimist of the Year by SI San Diego. Ms. Roache was selected for inclusion in the 2005-06 edition of the Manchester Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals as a Lifetime member. Ms Roache was a 2008 recipient of the Channel 10 News Leadership Award in San Diego and recipient of the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce Environmental Action award in 2009. She was also named one of Casa Familiar's Abrazo Award Honorees for 2009. Through the Technology Training Foundation of America, she is taking pride in helping bridge the 'digital divide'.

Keri
Janak, Director - TTFA Treasurer
Ms. Janak is a teacher in the Ramona Unified School District in Ramona, CA. She has her State of California Professional, Clear, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD (Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Diversity) emphasis from Cal State San Marcos, College of Education. She has a B.A. in Communications with a Minor in Law and Society from the University of California, San Diego. In the early 1990’s Ms. Janak worked for Advocate School of Ramona. Prior to her current teaching profession, she was an Administrative Assistant to 5th District, San Diego County Supervisor Bill Horn.

Jennifer Keller, Director - TTFA Secretary
Ms. Keller is the former Assistant Dean of Admissions for Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA. She was with the law school for over 35 years. Ms. Keller’s legal background and leadership bring significant credibility and thoroughness to all actions and activities performed by the foundation. Her community involvement through service club activities assist with contact opportunities and help identify schools and non-profit organizations meeting TTFA’s placement criteria.

Joyce F. "Sunny" Mojonnier, Director
Ms. Mojonnier is a former elected representative in the California State Legislature - 75th Assembly District having served from 1982-1990. During her terms in office she served on the Rules Committee, Ways & Means, Judiciary, Governmental Organizations, Education, Subcommittee on Education Reform, Labor and Economic Development & New Technologies Committees, to name a few. While in office she successfully authored legislation to provide for year-round schools and more human treatment for child victims in the courtroom and the establishment of children’s waiting rooms at courthouses. She is the founding member and chairperson of the California State Games and member since 1982 of the California Elected Women's Association for Education & Research. Ms. Mojonnier resides in Sacramento where she is an independent consultant and former Executive Director of the Sacramento YWCA.

Eugene
Yee, Director
Mr. Yee is a third grade instructor at Hedenkamp Elementary School in the Chula Vista Elementary School District in San Diego County. Besides teaching multiple subjects, he instructs multimedia technology including computer technology across the curriculum to students. He is also an adjunct professor of Education at Chapman University where he teaches a course in "Diversity, Social Justice, and Change". Mr. Yee has an MBA and Bachelor of Science Degree from San Diego State University. Prior to his current teaching profession he was Director of Finance and Administration for Olelo: The Corporation for Community Television in Honolulu, Hawaii and was Vice President of Community Relations at Cox Cable San Diego for ten years where he also served as Director of Finance and Administration overseeing a $120 million budget. Mr. Yee was founding Director and member for Community Service Cable Television from 1980-1990 and served as President during its last two years. He has extensive experience in Community service and has received numerous gubernatorial appointments over the years.

Sharon A. Solanik, Director
Ms. Solanik has 21 years experience as a computer instructor for high school age students and adults. She has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, TX. Selected accomplishments include: Research and development of curriculum for use by ISD teachers for desktop publishing courses; software for courses included Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Macromedia Freehand. Research and development of curriculum for use by ISD teachers for multimedia courses. Software for courses included Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, Macromedia Flash, Fireworks, Director, Authorware and Dreamweaver, and NewTek Inspire 3D; Computer software training at various teacher inservices for Northside ISD, Marshall High and O’Connor High Schools in San Antonio, TX. Computer software demonstrations and training at Northside ISD Technology Conference and Texas Technology Conference; Research of hardware and software for use in classrooms and responsible for capital outlay recommendations. Ms. Solanik has been selected for various boards within her high school and community college district, as well as, organizations in her community. Her vast computer knowledge and technology experience help TTFA identify technology standards that can best serve schools and non-profit organizations that become recipients through its computer donation program.

Lisa Simon, Director
Ms. Simon has a degree in Computer Science which she earned by going to school at night while working at SDG&E during the day. She started out with SDG&E as a Technical Writer/Librarian and became involved in the mainframe hardware/software department. Later she moved to the Product Servic3es (PC) group. PC’s were brand new at that time and she was the youngest in her department. She learned about PC’s from the ground up and then was promoted into the networking group. She was the first System Administrator for the company. When SDG&E decided to outsource their IT Group, Lisa went to work as a Systems Engineer for Compucom Systems, a systems integration company. There she worked for all different types of companies installing networks, servers, desktops, etc.
In 1999 Ms Simon went to work for Time Warner Cable. She was hired as the Manager of the IT Department, and promoted to Director 5 years later. At Time Warner Cable she is responsible for its IT staff both in San Diego and Desert Cities. Her department handles all internal voice/data networks, all pcs, servers, cell-phones, desk phones etc. She is responsible for the budget and purchasing for the IT department. She works closely with vendors to map out the IT infrastructure to make sure that TWC is current on technology.
Lisa is married with 4 children. She volunteers at her children’s schools, and helps in their computer labs. Lisa’s hands on experience and IT knowledge truly is an asset to TTFA and its mission to help bridge the ‘digital divide’ in California.
